Highlights of Your Journey

Day – 1

Airport / Negombo

  • Upon arrival you will be greeted by our Travel TIME TOURS representative. And drive into the Hotel for Check-in
  • Check in-to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel – Negombo.

Day – 2

Negombo / Sigiriya

  • After having the breakfast at the hotel drive in to the Sigiriya .
  • Enorute visit to the Coconut Plantation and get the experience in about coconut activities – plucking / braking,
  • Check-in the hotel.
  • In the evening , you can have a visit to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Sigiriya

  • Sigiriya This UNESCO World Heritage Site, a spectacular Rock Fortress, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most impressive
    facets of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, the
    Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’s glory. Built
    by King Kashyapa (477-495 A.D), the “Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200m from the scrub jungle.

Day – 3

Sigiriya / Kandy

  • After having a delightful breakfast proceed to Kandy enroute visit the Dambulla Cave Temple .

Dambulla Cave Temple

  • Located in the north central province this UNESCO World Heritage Site which dates back to the 01st century BC, is an amazing
    complex of 05 caves, first used as a refuge by an ancient king who on regaining his throne, commissioned magnificent carved
    images within the living rock, Later kings made further improvements and the caves contain over 150 images of the Buddha of
    which the largest is a colossal figure spanning 15 meters. Cave inscriptions from the 2nd Century BC are found and on the walls are
    many paintings most of which belong to the Kandy period (early 19th century).
  • Visit Bathik Factory ,Wood carving,
  • Spice Garden
  • The Island had been famous for its spices since the medieval times and is considered as one of the main reasons for the Europeans
    to conquer the Island and for the Arabs to trade upon from the 14th century onwards. A qualified guide will do a conducted tour of
    the garden and a presentation of its products.
  • Check in to the hotel .
  • Later in the evening conduct a sightseeing tour of Kandy, where you will be able to visit the gem museum.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel – Kandy.

Day – 4

Kandy / Ella

  • Take the train in Nanuoya to Ella – Seat on availability
  • Get down from the Ella station with beautiful sceneries and reach to Ella .
  • Your driver will be picking up from Ella train station and proceed to the hotel
  • Check-in the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel – Ella.

Day – 5

Ella

  • After having a delightful breakfast at the hotel , you can have a visit to the Little Adam’s Peak and Lipton Seat .
  • (Transfer Time: 20 Mins) (06Km)
  •  Climb up little Adam’s peak. This little Adam’s peak is a far easier climb. Nevertheless, the view is still a spectacular one.Walk along the rails on the Nine arch Bridge in Ella. Its 30 meters or 99 feet high and the guards allow you to walk along the rails.
    Even through the tunnel if you like to.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel – Ella.

Day – 6

Ella/ Yala

  • After having the Breakfast at the hotel, Transfer to Yala.
  • Check-in the hotel.
  • In the evening , you can get an amazing experience at the Yala National Park.

Yala National Park

  • Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka,
    having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri
    Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel – Yala

Day – 7

Yala / Koggala

  • After having the Breakfast at the hotel, Transfer to Koggala.
  • (Transfer Time: 3Hours 30Mins) (173Km)
  • Check-in the hotel.
  • In the evening, you can have a visit to the Turtle Hatchery.
  • Turtle Hatchery
  • Transfer to the Turtle hatchery in Hikkaduwa. Sea Turtles are born under ground (under sand to be more accurate). Then they find
    their way to the surface, and to the ocean, after which they start a life filled with many dangers, where only a few will make it through
    the growing years. Releasing baby turtles is a very unique experience. And there is nothing like holding a baby turtle in your hand.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel – Koggala.

Day – 8

Koggala

  • Early morning with the breakfast packet you may proceed to mirissa for the whale watching,
  • Returned to the hotel, evening visit the galle fort, where you will witness the sun set on the beach
  • Overnight stay at the hotel – Koggala.

Day – 9

Koggala / Airport

  • You need to be at the airport before 03hrs of the departure flight
