Day - 1

Airport / Habarana

  • Upon arrival you will be greeted by our Travel Time Tours representative and brief about the tour and discuss all other important things about Sri Lanka.
  • Start your honeymoon tour in Sri Lanka.
  • Drive towards Habarana.
  • Check in to your first hotel of your honeymoon trip.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel-Habarana.

Day – 2

Habarana / Sigiriya / Habarana

  • After the breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
  • Transfer back to the hotel.
  • In the evening, leave for Minneriya National Park and enjoy the safari.
  • Transfer back to the hotel.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel-Habarana.
  • Sigiriya This UNESCO World Heritage Site, a spectacular Rock Fortress, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most
    impressive facets of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with
    ancient graffiti, the Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the
    period of Sigiriya’s glory. Built by King Kashyapa (477-495 A.D), the “Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200m
    from the scrub jungle.
  • Minneriya National Park is located between Habarana and Polonnaruwa. Covered an area of 8890 hectares park is an ideal
    place for elephant and leopard watching. The vegetation of this park is mixed evergreen and scrub areas. The important
    feature of this park is that 3rd century built Minneriya Tank is located in the park. During the dry season Minneriya tank
    becomes the ideal place to observe its natural wild life. Minneriya National Park is home to 24 species of mammals,160
    species of birds , 75 species of butterflies, 9 species of amphibians, 26 species of fish and 25 species of reptiles.

Day – 3

Habarana / Kandy

Day – 4

Kandy

  • After the breakfast, proceed to visit the Elephant Orphanage.
  • Back to the hotel.
  • In the evening, visit the Royal Botanical Garden.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel-Kandy.

  • Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. In
    2016, the garden was visited by 1.2 million locals and 400,000 foreign visitors. It is near the Mahaweli River. It is renowned for
    its collection of orchids.
  • Pinnawala Elephant Orphange
  • Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at
    Pinnawala village, 13 km northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala has the largest herd of
    captive elephants in the world.

Day – 5

Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

  • After the breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the Nuwara Eliya
  • You can have a train ride from Kandy to Nanu oya station(subject to seat availability)
  • Have a visit to the Tea Plantation.
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel- Nuwara Eliya

Day – 6

Nuwara Eliya

  • After a fresh breakfast at the hotel, spend your day on leisure.
  • In the evening, conduct a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya including Nuwara Eliya market, Pink Post Office, Golf Club and the
    walk around Gregory Lake.
  • Transfer back to the hotel.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel- Nuwara Eliya
  • Walk around the Gregory Lake
  • Named after Sir William Gregory in 1873, this is a prominent attraction used for water sports and recreational activities. Lake
    Park, Boat Rides are available. Can be reached by sea plane which takes only 30 minutes from Colombo. At the southern end of
    the town is Gregory Lake where the holiday makers can enjoy a leisurely walk on the paved walk ways, with swan shaped
    paddle boats for the more adventurous. There are pony rides round the lake for the kids and even adults, with plenty of fast
    food stalls located in a separate area where one can enjoy a meal or a snack.

Day – 7

Nuwara Eliya / Beruwala

  • After the breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the Beruwala.
  • En route have a stop at the Lover’s Leap waterfall and you can take some photos.
  • You can do the Madu River Boat Safari.
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel- Beruwala.
  • Madu Ganga Boat Ride
  • This two-hour tour takes you on a boat safari through the primitive depths of the mangrove marshes in Madu River.
    Traverse the dark and dangerous caverns formed by the thick mangrove forests; interspersed with bright open stretches
    of water. Get a chance to see crocodiles, water snakes, tree snakes and wild boars in their natural habitat. Watch the
    cormorants; storks and much other avian life hunts for their prey in swift flow of Madu River.

Day – 8

Beruwala / Colombo

  • After the breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the Colombo.
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • In the evening, you can get an awesome experience trough the Colombo City Tour.
  • Transfer back to the hotel.
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
